Eurasian-collared doves are relatively large, slender doves with gray plumage overall, dark primaries, and a square tail. Its name describes its European origin and a partial dark collar on the back of its neck.
Eurasian-collared doves are common in Florida (where they were introduced) but are rapidly colonizing throughout the U.S.
