Pine Siskin

Pine siskins are small finch-like birds. They are mostly drab with heavy streaking, except for adult males which have a prominent yellow wingbar (wing stripe in flight).

Pine siskins are usually found in coniferous forests in the western U.S. and along the Canadian border, but their range can vary greatly.
