Northern Mockingbird

Northern mockingbirds are slender songbirds with a long tail, short bill, and gray back. Adults have a whitish front and undersides while juveniles have a spotted breast.

As their name suggests, Northern mockingbirds imitate the sounds of other birds.

They are found in a variety of habitats in northeastern, southern, and Pacific coastal areas of the U.S.
