American Robin

The American robin is a large thrush with a dark head, gray back and orange to orange-red breast. The juvenile has a pale breast with dark spots.

Despite their name, American robins are common throughout all of North America and are one of the most prevalent birds in suburban areas. They eat insects, worms, and berries.
