Osprey are an unique species of raptors with a dark eyestripe and long, narrow wings that are bent in a gull-like manner in flight. The adult has a dark back contrasting with a white front and gray feet.
Osprey are fairly common on the Gulf coast of the U.S., as well as the coast of southern California and Baja Mexico.
