Long-billed Dowitcher

Long-billed dowitchers are medium-sized shorebirds with relatively long, straight bills. Breeding adults have a streaked, rufous neck and belly, while nonbreeding adults are drab.

Long-billed dowitchers are common in grassy freshwater pools near coastal areas of the U.S. and throughout Mexico.
