Northern Pintail

Northern pintails are slender dabbling ducks. They have long, pin-like tails. Breeding males have particularly long tails and a white neck stripe extending up from a white breast to a thin line on the back of a brown head.

They are common and widespread, and are found in marshes, ponds, and lakes.
