Common Yellowthroat

Common yellowthroats are small olive-colored wood warblers with round wings and tail, and a relatively short bill. As their name suggests, adults have a bright yellow throat. Males also have a large black facial mask with a white or gray border.

Common yellowthroats are found near marshes and brushy habitats near water throughout the U.S.
