Hi! Thank you for visiting Two Birds Photography!
I am an aspiring bird and nature photographer. Two Birds Photography is my personal website that I use to showcase my photography and provide general birding information.
Some of my photography is also displayed in:

- Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge Visitor's Center (Brigham City, UT)
I believe that photography is more than just a visual medium of expression, and I strive to capture images that portray more than what meets the eye. I do very little digital image processing of my photos.
Currently, I work with the 18 megapixel Canon 7D camera and 300mm Canon f/2.8 IS lens with a 2X converter (effectively 600mm f/5.6). I also use the 17-55mm Canon f/2.8 IS lens for landscapes.
For birding, I use 8 x 40 binoculars and an 80mm Swarovski spotting scope. Since I started this hobby in 2006, I have accumulated a life list of 252 birds.
Currently, I reside in Salt Lake City, Utah and I enjoy birding throughout the western U.S.
